This is one cab driver you don't want to mess with. I think I had about 3 minutes to take his picture before he had to leave to pick someone up. Then I spent a couple of fruitless hours (hours, really) on campus corner trying to get a shot of people getting in a cab or out of a cab or really just any 'ole cab at all. I wound up just trying to get pictures of cars that almost sort of look like cabs. Great.

Saturday was my friend Nick's birthday. On Friday we went out. I saw a purple and blue one-eyed octopus cake in the half off rack at Homeland on our way to a party, so I decided that I should buy it as Nick's birthday cake. Before we ate it Nick decided that I should take a picture of the cake to immortalize it's gaudy ugliness. Before I could get a picture, though, Nick lost control and sent the cake crashing into the wall. This is the moment he lost it.

This is an ad-shot for Mel's Kloset, a small clothing boutique in Norman. I think the ads would look much better if they actually got a person to pose with the clothes and accessories...but they seem pretty intent on using mannequins.
